DOCUMENTS:
Indian nationals proceeding to
Bhutan do not require a visa under any category but must carry
proof of identification. Visitors can enter Bhutan by road through
the Indian territory at the border Town of phuntsholing in the
south of the country or by air to paro.However, it is mandatory
for foreign tourist to avail of Durk Air services one way i.e.
either on entry or exit. in the Indian subcontient.Druk Air
(Royal Bhutan Airlines) operations their flights from New Delhi,
Calcutta, Dhaka & Kathmandu, Foreign tourists must obtain
"visa Clearnes" from the Tourism Authority of Bhutan
(TAB).Thimpu, prior to departing for Bhutan. Actual visa is
stamped on the visitors passport on arrival at the port of entry
on payment of US $20 for a 15 day stay. Minimum 7 working days
are required to obtain the visa clerance.Visa is granted for
single entry only
