Farewell the city of sails as you travel south to reach the
market area of Pukekohe.Continue through Hamliton-New Zealand’s
largest city and the fertile Waikato region to the Thermal City
of Rotorua.
City tour-Rotorua (SNS / SS /NZ
/ ROT / 316) :
Visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools
and roaring geysers.Following this see bird life,trout and other
wildlife before viewing a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep
dog demonstrations ,cow milking and an introduction to the stars
of our sheep industry.The afternoon is at leisure.
Hangi Dinner and concert at Marae
(SNS / SS /NZ / ROT / 26) :
This is a selection of traditionally prepared meats and vegetables
plus conventional dishes, followed by a concert featuring Maori
songs, chants and the stirring Haka.
Waitomo Caves (SNS / SS /NZ /
ROT / 61) :
Experience the natural underground wonderland of Waitomo Glowworm.
Journey through the labyrinth of ancient imestone caves and
formations, which have been attracting visitors for over 100
years. Marvel at mothers natures light display as you quietly
glide through the glowworm grotto of the Waitomo Glowworm Cave.
